On 19th December 2008 the following share transaction was completed by a Non-Executive Director of Man Group plc. Man Group plc was informed of the transaction today. 

Alison Carnwath:

Shares acquired:  9,361 ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents each at a price of 237.68 pence per share under the Man Group plc Dividend Reinvestment Plan.

Following the above transaction Mrs Carnwath is deemed to be interested in 198,335 ordinary shares in the Company's issued share capital.
