On 14th March 2007, Mr Peter Clarke, Deputy Chief Executive and Finance
Director, bought 49,919 ordinary shares of 3 US cents in Man Group plc at a
price of 497.0744 pence per share. Following this transaction Mr Clarke is
deemed to be interested in a total of 4,348,499 Man Group plc ordinary shares
representing approximately 0.23% of the Company's issued share capital.
