There are two announcements in this disclosure

The following information is given subsequent to the announcement made on 10
March 2008 that Steven Esom was appointed an executive director of Marks and
Spencer Group plc with effect from 10 March 2008.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (1) of the Listing Rules, Steven Esom has
advised that he is a non-executive director of The Carphone Warehouse Group plc.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (2)-(6) of the Listing Rules, he has advised
that he has no details to disclose.





The following information is given subsequent to the announcement made on 10
March 2008 that Kate Bostock was appointed an executive director of Marks and
Spencer Group plc with effect from 10 March 2008.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (1) of the Listing Rules, Kate Bostock has
advised that she has held no other directorships in publicly quoted companies at
any time in the previous 5 years.

In accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 (2)-(6) of the Listing Rules, she has
advised that she has no details to disclose.
