DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

  • We have received confirmation today that Alison Clare Reed acquired 3
    shares on 24 March 2003 at a price of 302.25p per share as a result of
    reinvestment of tax credit in a PEP. The shares are registered in the name
    of Marks & Spencer Savings & Investments Limited. This brings her total
    holding to 84,109 shares.

  • We have also received confirmation today that on 24 March 2003 David
    Ronald Norgrove transferred 2,415 shares registered in his own name into an
    ISA registered in the name of Marks & Spencer Savings & Investments Limited.
    His shareholding of 41,363 shares remains unchanged.
