Marks and Spencer Group Plc appoints Laura Wade-Gery as Executive Director, Multi-channel E-commerce

Marks and Spencer Group plc today announces the appointment to its Board of Laura Wade-Gery as Executive Director, Multi-channel E-commerce.

Laura joins from Tesco where she is currently Chief Executive Officer of Tesco.com and Tesco Direct. She has served as a Non-Executive Director of Trinity Mirror plc since 2006. Laura will take up her appointment at a time and on terms to be confirmed.

Marc Bolland, M&S Chief Executive said: "I am delighted that Laura is joining the Executive Team. Her appointment is in line with the plans we announced last November to grow our multi-channel e-commerce business both in the UK and internationally. Laura brings a wealth of relevant experience to M&S and we are all very much looking forward to working with her."
