DIRECTORATE CHANGE
Marks and Spencer Group Plc ("M&S") today announces Andrew Fisher, appointed to its Board in December 2015, will succeed Andy Halford as Senior Independent Director with effect from 31 December 2022. Andrew will continue as Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
As previously announced in the Annual Report and Accounts 2022, having served on the Board since January 2013, Andy Halford, Senior Independent Director, will be stepping down from the Board also with effect from 31 December 2022.
This notification is made pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.11 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.

Andrew Fisher Biography :
Andrew is Chair of Rightmove plc, a FTSE 100 Company and Chair of Epidemic Sound a privately held company backed by Blackstone and EQT. He joined the Board of Marks and Spencer in December 2015 as a Non-Executive Director and is Chair of the Remuneration Committee.
He was appointed CEO of Shazam in March 2005 and became Executive Chairman in 2013. During Andrew's tenure Shazam became one of the world's leading mobile brands with over 1 billion users. The company was acquired by Apple in 2018.
Andrew has previously been a Non-Executive Director of MoneySuperMarket Group plc and Merlin Entertainments plc.
Andrew was awarded an O.B.E. for services to the digital economy in 2016.
