Marks and Spencer Group plc ('Marks & Spencer' or 'the Group')
Operational Update
Since his appointment as Chief Executive on 31 May 2004, Stuart Rose and the
senior management team have made good progress in reviewing the Group.
Marks & Spencer intends to set out its plans to improve operating performance
across the Group, as well as providing an update on current trading, on Monday
12 July 2004.
As previously announced, the AGM will take place on Wednesday 14 July 2004.
