Marshalls plc (the 'Company') announces that an application has been made today
to the Financial Services Authority for the listing, and to the London Stock
Exchange for the admission to the Official List, of 2 ordinary shares of 25
pence each. These shares represent the subscriber shares originally held in the
Company prior to the Scheme of Arrangement becoming effective last year. These
shares had not been included in the original application to the Financial
Services Authority for listing and to the London Stock Exchange for admission,
on 8 July 2004.
These shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing shares in
issue and will be allotted as follows:
David Graham Holden 1 share
Ian David Burrell 1 share
Following this announcement David Graham Holden and Ian David Burrell will hold
206,770 shares and 26,716 shares respectively in the Company.
