APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS
Marshalls plc announces the appointment of two new non-executive directors,
Andrew Allner and Richard Scholes.
Andrew Allner has held a number of senior finance positions including Finance
Director of PIC International Group plc, Dalgety plc and Amersham International
plc, and Director of Financial Planning and Control of Guinness plc. Most
recently he was Chief Executive of Enodis plc, the world's leading food service
equipment company. He is a Chartered Accountant and former Partner in Price
Waterhouse. He is also a non-executive Director of Moss Bros Group plc.
Richard Scholes is a Chartered Accountant and a non-executive director of four
other listed companies, Bodycote International plc, Crest Nicholson PLC, Chaucer
Holdings PLC and Keller plc. He was formerly a non-executive director of
British Vita PLC from which he retired after ten years in April 2003. Until
2001 he was a Director at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, investment bankers.
