Disclosure of Interest

The Company has today been notified pursuant to the Companies Act 1985 that,
following a re-distribution of funds between funds not classed as material and
material funds, CGNU and Morley Fund Management Limited (a subsidiary of CGNU
plc) are to be regarded as having a material interest in 10,206,436 shares in
Marshalls Plc, representing 6.12% of the issued share capital.

The shares held are registered as follows:-
