REDEMPTION OF B SHARES
Marshalls plc announces that applications were received in respect of 2,638,803
B shares for redemption on 31 December 2004, at 45 pence per B share. Monies due
in respect of those applications received before 10 December 2004 were sent to
shareholders on 31 December 2004. Monies due in respect of applications received
between 11 and 30 December 2004 will be sent to shareholders on Tuesday 11
January 2005.
Accordingly, a total of 158,304,498 B shares, representing approximately 94.5
per cent of the B shares originally in issue, have now been redeemed.
Following this redemption, 9,237,821 B shares remain in issue. The next
redemption date will be 30 June 2005.
