Marston's PLC announces that it has today purchased for cancellation the
following number of its ordinary shares of 7.375p each on the London Stock
Exchange via UBS Investment Bank

Number of ordinary shares purchased:         533,000

Highest price paid per share:                 337.25p

Lowest price paid per share:                  323.50p

Volume weighted average price per share:    329.3042p



Following the above purchase, Marston's PLC holds 31,112,339 ordinary shares as
treasury shares and has 271,435,845 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury
shares).
