ordinary shares of 7.375p each on the London Stock Exchange via UBS Investment
Bank.

Marston's PLC intends to hold these shares as treasury shares. Following the 
above purchase, Marston's PLC holds 13,536,784 ordinary shares as treasury 
shares and has 298,302,880 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
