Marston's PLC announces that it has purchased the following number of its 
ordinary shares of 7.375p each on the London Stock Exchange via UBS Investment 
Bank.

Number of ordinary shares purchased:           328,833
Highest price paid per share:                  463.625p
Lowest price paid per share:                   455.75p
Volume weighted average price per share:       461.4191 p

Marston's PLC intends to hold those shares as treasury shares. Following the 
above purchase, Marston's PLC holds 17,783,539 ordinary shares as treasury 
shares and has 294,066,029 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
