Resignation of Director

Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc (the "Company") announces that, as noted in the Annual Report for the year to 31 January 2021, Neil Gaskell is not seeking re-election at the AGM to be held on 9 June 2021.  Neil has confirmed that he is retiring from the Board and the effective date of his resignation is 30 April 2021. The Board would like to thank Neil for his contribution and guidance during his time as Chair of the Company.
