Directorate changes

The Board of the Company announces that Gillian Watson will be retiring as Chair of the Company following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting ("AGM") on 1 June 2023 and that Christopher Metcalfe, currently a non-executive director, will take on the role of Chair of the Company on that date.   

Christopher Metcalfe has been a non-executive director of the Company since September 2019 and is currently senior independent non-executive director of JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc and a non-executive director of abrdn Smaller Companies Income Trust plc.  He has extensive global equity fund management and investment trust experience. 

The Board would like to thank Gillian for her commitment and invaluable contribution during her time as Chair and as a non-executive director of the Company.  The Board also confirms they are delighted that Christopher Metcalfe is taking on the role of Chair of the Company.
