Stock Exchange Announcement - 1 June 2009
The Board of Martin Currie Portfolio Investment Trust plc (the "Company")
announces that the Redemption Price in respect of the 10,630,376 shares in the
Company (representing 8 per cent of the 132,865,343 shares in issue as at 15 May
2009) validly tendered for redemption is 100.89p per share. This represents the
net asset value per share of the Company, compiled on the AIC basis, including
current period revenue less costs of £99,788 (equivalent to 0.94p per share
redeemed). The redemption proceeds will be despatched to redeeming shareholders
on or around 30 June 2009.
