Stock Exchange Announcement - 4 May 2005
At the Annual General Meeting of Martin Currie Portfolio Investment Trust plc
held on 4 May 2005, all resolutions were duly passed. The final dividend for the
year will be paid on 10 June to shareholders on the register on 20 May 2005.
The special resolutions which were passed at the Annual General Meeting have
been lodged with the UK Listing Authority. These will be available shortly
through the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which can be found
at The Financial Services Authority, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf,
London E14 5HS.
Joe Scott Plummer retired as a director of the company with effect from the
conclusion of the Annual General Meeting.
