Total Voting Rights and Share Capital - 30 September 2008
For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules, the total number of ordinary shares of Martin Currie
Portfolio Investment Trust plc in issue as at the date of this notice is
135,570,995 with each share carrying the right to one vote. There are no shares
held in Treasury.
The total number of voting rights in the Company is therefore 135,570,995.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, Martin Currie Portfolio
Investment Trust plc in accordance with the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
