Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 23 April 2013, bought back 39,000 ordinary shares at a price of 155.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 716,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,836,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
