Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 15 July 2013, bought back 37,000 ordinary shares at a price of 163.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,113,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,379,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
