Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 15 March 2013, bought back 43,000 ordinary shares at a price of 155.00p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 194,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 104,358,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
