Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 20 March 2013, bought back 30,000 ordinary shares at a price of 153.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 239,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 104,313,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
