Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 21 March 2013, bought back 50,000 ordinary shares at a price of 152.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 289,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 104,263,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
