Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 19 December 2013, bought back 150,000 ordinary shares at a price of 161.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 150,000 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 104,343,171 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
