Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 8 April 2013, bought back 14,000 ordinary shares at a price of 151.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 514,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 104,038,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
