Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 12 April 2013, bought back 14,000 ordinary shares at a price of 154.50p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 619,623 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,933,548 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
