Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc, on 19 March 2014, bought back 150,000 ordinary shares at a price of 162.07p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 898,000 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,595,171 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
