On 7 November 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 5,995 ordinary shares at a price of 175.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,861,693 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,631,478 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
