On 21 January 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,248 ordinary shares at a price of 178.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,429,796 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 103,063,375 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
