On 1 October 2014 Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 90,000 ordinary shares at a price of 169.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,855,698 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,637,473 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
