On 5 February 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 172,000 ordinary shares at a price of 179.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,622,764 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 102,870,407 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
