On 20 August 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 103,389 ordinary shares at a price of 171.27p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,985,648 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,212,744 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
