On 21 October 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 25,001 ordinary shares at a price of 173p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,217,087 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,366,115 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
