On 21 August 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 9,227 ordinary shares at a price of 167.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,994,875 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,203,517 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
