On 26 August 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 2,266 ordinary shares at a price of 162.15p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,867,115 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,201,251 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
