On 28 August 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 20,580 ordinary shares at a price of 170.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,902,729 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,165,637 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
