On 26 October 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 25,753 ordinary shares at a price of 176.22p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,271,149 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,312,053 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
