On 31 July 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 12,305 ordinary shares at a price of 179.44p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,006,241 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,486,930 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
