On 30 October 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 9,784 ordinary shares at a price of 174.63p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,928,036 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,655,166 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
