On 1 July 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,000 ordinary shares at a price of 181p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,736,179 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,756,992 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
