On 5 August 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,000 ordinary shares at a price of 179.25p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,062,314 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,357,930 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
