On 6 October 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 80,000 ordinary shares at a price of 170.5p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,793,834 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,789,368 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
