On 7 October 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 8,239 ordinary shares at a price of 171.59p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,975,640 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,607,562 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
