On 8 July 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,552 ordinary shares at a price of 179p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,753,145 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,740,026 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
