On 4 November 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 5,277 ordinary shares at a price of 177.23p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,939,431 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,643,771 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
