On 20 November 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 1,000 ordinary shares at a price of 177.75p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 3,245,376 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,337,826 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
