On 9 October 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 5,000 ordinary shares at a price of 172.6p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 1,983,963 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 101,599,239 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
