On 6 November 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 42,247 ordinary shares at a price of 178.87p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,981,678 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,601,524 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
