On 9 November 2015, Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc bought back 4,919 ordinary shares at a price of 178.98p per share to be HELD AS TREASURY. 

Following this purchase Martin Currie Global Portfolio Trust plc holds 2,986,597 shares in TREASURY, and has a total of 100,596,605 ordinary shares with voting rights (excluding Treasury shares) in issue.
